还记得我们上一贴提到的 Beacon Life Training Centre - BLTC 灯塔特殊培训中心 嘛？ 那天走进BLTC，我们都被孩子们的笑容暖到了。他们认真、听话、非常可爱，还会各种小小才艺，完全颠覆了我们原本的想象。虽然学习环境简单，但他们的眼神很明亮，每一个动作都充满努力和专注。那种纯真与坚持，让我们深深感受到：他们值得被看见、被支持。 然而，这个温暖的小天地也面临许多现实的挑战：租金高涨、工作坊空间有限、厨房空间不足，这些都使我们难以接纳更多有特殊需要的孩子。同时，日常开销与运营费用也持续增加。加上各项活动分散在两个不同地点，带来了人力资源管理上的困难，也必须经过多方面考量与协调。 所以我们想邀请你，一起做一件简单却很有力量的小事。你不用捐出很多钱，也不需要牺牲自己，只要打开他们的网站，看看孩子们亲手制作的产品。每一件都是他们努力学习的成果。无论你是买来送礼或自己用，都是一种实际的帮助，让孩子们继续成长、继续被看见。 如果你愿意花一点时间陪伴孩子们，也非常欢迎加入志愿者行列。你可以联系院长，和孩子们相处、陪他们学习、带来欢笑与快乐。你付出的时间，对他们来说，是最温暖的礼物。 这不是同情，而是相信。这些孩子值得更好的环境、更安全的空间和更多机会。我们每一个小小的行动，都能带来大大的改变。 Do you still remember BLTC from our previous post? The moment we stepped into BLTC, we were warmed by the children’s smiles. They were attentive, polite, incredibly adorable, and full of little talents that completely changed our original expectations. Even though the learning environment is simple, their eyes are bright, and every movement is filled with effort and focus. That sincerity and persistence made us feel deeply that they truly deserve to be seen and supported. However, this warm little place also faces many real challenges. Rising rental costs, limited workshop space, and a small kitchen make it difficult for the centre to welcome more children with special needs. Daily operating expenses are also increasing. On top of that, activities are spread across two different locations, which creates challenges for manpower planning and requires extra coordination. That is why we would like to invite you to do something simple yet powerful. You don’t have to donate a large amount or make sacrifices. Just visit their website and take a look at the handmade products created by the children. Every piece is the result of their effort and learning. Whether you use it yourself or as a gift, it becomes real and practical support that helps the children continue to grow and to be seen. If you would like to spend time with the children, volunteers are also very welcome. You may contact the principal to join them, accompany their learning, and bring laughter and joy. Your time is the warmest gift to these children. This is not about pity, but about belief. These children deserve better environments, safer spaces, and more opportunities. 20241129-30拆除橱柜的工程确实不小，花了一整天的时间才将所有需要拆除的橱柜完成。第二天，又将所有的橱柜、家具和箱子搬运到新地点。非常感谢所有工作人员和老师这两天的辛勤付出，才能让整个过程顺利完成。 The task of dismantling the cabinets was indeed a big project, taking an entire day to complete. The next day, all the cabinets, furniture, and boxes were moved to the new location. A big thank you to all the staff and teachers for their hard work over these two days, making it possible to complete everything smoothly.
